Food Safety

We design inputs that nourish crops without adding risk to people, animals, or the environment. That means transparent testing, conservative limits, and clear guidance — so you can use our products with confidence.

What “safe” means

Each CropTab™ tablet contains a precision-engineered blend of nutrients encapsulated in a carbon matrix. The architecture enables controlled release, enhanced uptake, and synchronization with plant demand.

Chemically transparent

Full elemental disclosure and batch verification by ICP-based methods.

Functionally safe

In‑vitro biosensor assays screen acute cytotoxicity across formulations before release.

Operationally safe

Low‑dust tablets, clean dissolving, filter‑safe suspensions; standard PPE and hygiene.

Compliance & certifications

  • United States registrations. Products are registered for sale at the state level (AAPFCO‑aligned labelling) where applicable. These registrations affirm that the formulation and label directions are considered safe when used as directed.
  • CE conformity (EU). Selected SKUs are CE‑marked as EU fertilising products under the Fertilising Products Regulation (EU) 2019/1009, confirming conformity with safety and labelling requirements at recommended use rates.
Certificates and current market authorisations are available on request. Scope may vary by SKU and jurisdiction; always follow the local label.

How we test

Composition & contaminants

  • Elemental profile via ICP‑MS/ICP‑OES on product and plant tissue to confirm label and uptake.
  • Matrix checks for pH, dispersion, disintegration time, and carrier‑water stability.

In‑vitro biosafety screen (rapid‑flag method)

Bioluminescent bacterial assay (E. coli K12 TG1, lux). If luminescence drops, we investigate dose and route before release. Representative results show NTOX at very low concentrations, with EC20/EC50 only at higher lab doses—well above field rates.

Operationally safe

  • Iron (Fe): NTOX at ≤ 0.002% across 0–180 min; EC20 around 0.004–0.01%; EC50 ~0.02–0.03%; high-dose TOX ≥ 0.06–0.25%.
  • Silver (Ag, screening control): more potent in the assay; NTOX at ~≤ 0.0005%; EC20 ~0.001–0.002%; EC50 ~0.004%; TOX at higher.
  • Cobalt / Copper / Magnesium: show EC20/EC50 only at higher lab doses; very low dilutions trend to NTOX.
Why it matters: field‑use dilutions and on‑leaf films are orders of magnitude below where the assay signals concern. We formulate to stay well inside that window.
Assay terms: NTOX/NOEC = no measurable effect; EC20/EC50 = 20%/50% signal quench; TOX = full quench at test dose.
Thresholds are conservative and used to set wide safety margins.

Practical safeguards in use

For seeding and early root support
In-furrow method
Controlled release dampens salt spikes; slows tie‑up.
For vegetative & reproductive stages
Foliar spray method
Low‑salt, encapsulated forms minimize leaf burn when applied off heat windows.
Pre-sowing micronutrient boost and early vigor
Seed treatment (Micros)
Micro‑dose availability from germination with predictable film formation.
Form factor & mixing:
Tablet format: no dust, no drum rinsate, stable suspensions, filter‑safe to fine screens. Normal agitation only.
Compatibility:
Stable across pH 4–9 and typical hard water; broad tank‑mix compatibility verified by jar tests.

Environmental angle

Low‑mass logistics

Grams per hectare replace kilos; fewer miles, less storage.

Zero‑loss pathway by design

Encapsulation reduces drift, runoff, and tie‑up, keeping nutrients where the plant can use them.

Less packaging, less waste

Courier‑weight packs; no totes; minimal rinsate.

On-farm guidance

Each NutriPeak™ tablet contains a precision-engineered blend of nutrients encapsulated in a carbon matrix. The architecture enables controlled release, enhanced uptake, and synchronization with plant demand.
01

Before use

Read the label, calibrate meters, jar‑test in extreme water (very hard/unusual pH). Basic PPE (gloves, eye protection).
02

During use

Avoid midday heat on foliar. Use normal agitation; follow order of addition. Respect local buffer zones.
03

After use

Flush lines; store tablets sealed, dry, out of sun. If something looks off (foam/precipitate/leaf response): pause, jar‑test, call us.

Quick answers

Are these safe to handle?

Yes—low‑dust tablets and neutral suspensions. Use basic PPE and hygiene.

Any pre‑harvest interval?

These are fertilizers, not PPPs. Follow local good practice and buyer specs; PHI typically doesn’t apply.

What if I over‑concentrate?

Dilute back to label rates. The in‑vitro screen shows where high lab doses begin to stress cells; field rates are far below those thresholds.

How do you verify each batch?

ICP‑based elemental verification plus physical/dispersion checks before release.
